Savannah's First Solo School Project

Not to long ago Savannah was given her first real, at home project to be completed for school.  The directions clearly stated that parents were NOT to do the project, but could assist with ideas, supplies, etc.  Can I tell you how hard it was not to just do the entire thing, especially when it came to the cutting!  I am such a perfectionist, but it was really neat to see Savannah pull this together.  The assignment was to choose a community worker, research their job along with where they work, what special tools they use and identify any special clothing they wear.  Savannah chose a teacher and here is her finished project.

You can see the rubric where she didn't get anything crossed off for doing incorrectly and the star is the best grade you can get. :)  I loved how her teacher commented on Savannah's presentation . . . apparently at the end of the presentation (which was part of the project) Savannah asked the class if they had any questions and then answered them.

What a great project and she did a fantastic job! And you need a star for letting her do it by herself, I know that was hard for you lol. Great Job Savannah!
