Happy Halloween From Our Galaxy to Yours!

This year the kids have really been into Star Wars . . . so after much begging from Savannah, I agreed to dress up so we could go with a Star Wars theme.

 I do have to admit Rey and the Stormtrooper were pretty cute!

So after a fun day out of school (don't ask me why it was ON Halloween instead of the day after), we set up for the annual block party.  It's fun to see so many new little ones this year.  Everyone enjoyed all of the yummy food and quickly set out for Trick or Treating!

All in all it was another fun-filled Halloween.  We had a great time as a family and enjoy our last Whitmore block party too. . . but I hear the party in Berkeley is even better!!! :)

Sibling Memories

There are days that these two drive each other (and me) completely nuts . . but today wasn't one of those days.  I'm so thankful that they still play well together and enjoy using their creative side to make up new games.  As we prepare to move from their childhood home I pray that these are the memories they take with them. :)

Fall Family Farm Fun

For an afternoon of Fall-like fun we ventured out to the Hall Family Farm this afternoon.  We enjoyed a fun "hay" ride, devoured a funnel cake, and tried our best to find a pumpkin to carve.  What a great way to spend time together . . . and relax from the craziness of putting an offer on a new house!!!!

Chargerfest 2017

Today was the annual Chargerfest at Jay M Robinson.  Savannah was so excited to attend this after school event with some of her favorite friends.  There were tons of games, inflatables, snacks, a photo booth, caricatures, and much more.  What a fun way to kick off a Fall weekend!

Preston's Y Guides Adventure

This weekend the boys ventured out for their annual Fall Y Guides longhouse.  They went to Camp Harrison again and had a blast!  Although they only went for one night (Friday night Clemson played so they stayed home and watched the heart breaker game.), much fun was enjoyed by both of them.   Here are a few pictures from the weekend.

All in all it was a great weekend with lots of fun memories made. 

Sunday Girl Time

For the past month Savannah and I have been enjoying doing yoga at the YMCA on Sunday afternoons. We both enjoy the class (with the awesome stretches) and the quiet time too.  Today we tried hot yoga for the first time and both agreed we aren't interested in doing THAT again!

Unhappy Goalie

Preston's least favorite position is goalie . . . and unfortunately the coach makes all of the players rotate through each position every game.  I caught a glimpse of his displeasure this week and had to snap a picture.  Arms crossed and a nice frown.  The picture speaks volumes. :)  Thankfully he wasn't scored on this week, but they did lose a heart breaker 2-1.

Sunday Funday

Champ Sports had a huge festival after church on Sunday that included tons of games, free lunch, and bouncy houses too!  Savannah had her own preteen event at church, but Dave and Preston enjoyed hours and hours of fun at Calvary this afternoon.  The weather could not have been more perfect!
