So as Saturdays go lately, Dave and I hit the pavement early for our 6 mile run and got back just in time to have breakfast and head to soccer. This week we had a day full of yardwork planned so after soccer we headed to Home Depot to buy mulch. We spent several hours all working together in the yard, stopping only briefly for lunch.
Late this afternoon Savannah decided she wanted to do some baking so I begged her to whip up another batch of her American Girl chocolate chip cookies . . . which we'll enjoy after our hard work celebratory dinner at Outback tonight!
